Daedal crossed roller Slide w/ Starrett .001" Micrometer
Parker Daedal crossed roller positioners combine a crossed roller slide with a drive mechanism. The crossed roller slide is spring loaded against the drive mechanism to provide a constant preload between the drive and the slide. This positioner includes a fine Starrett micrometer head.
The linear positioner operates in a simple manner. The micrometer rests against the end of the moveable top and the top is spring loaded toward the anvil so that the top will always be held firmly against the micrometer. When the micrometer is turned the slide top follows in precision increments. The result is a very smooth linear motion, accurately controlled by rotation of the drive micrometer.
The slide measures 1 3/4" wide. This slide is perfect for a precision axis or any requirement for a precision movement.
