Mitutoyo OPTOEYE M1 is an automatic image sensor unit for profile projector and is comprised of a detection unit and a meter unit. When an image of the a workpiece comes closer to the detector attached on the screen glass, the meter swings and when the image edge is aligned to the center of the detector, the meter indicates zero and the LED becomes most bright, informing that positioning of image edge is made exact. You can take readings of or reset the digital display at this moment. As no human factor is involved in sensing the image edge, measurement readability and efficiency is remarkably increased.
