You are bidding on a Like New Starrett Screw Pitch 0 to 1" Micrometers- 32 to 40 PITCH, Model # 575FP for measuring American Unified National series and Unified J series screw threads-Recently Calibrated.
These micrometers have a pointed spindle and a double V-anvil, both shaped to contact the screw thread as shown in the drawing. The micrometer reading therefore gives the pitch diameter.
