This is a Multi-Stage 2 Axis Steel Precision Positioning System with two 1/2" diameter for holding micrometer heads or indicators with 2 dovetail mounting slots.

Ball Bearing Linear Stage incorporates ball bearing construction. The 4 3/4 in. square translating platform is supported within the frame by balls riding between opposing pairs of precision-ground, hardened rods. It is preloaded to remove wobble and play and is spring loaded.
